Wargames Foundry Elizabethan Demi-Lancers

And the last unit for the start of my Dutch Army for the War of Independence is a Wargames Foundry Demi-Lancer Regiment. The figures have again been painted by the very talented Ian Clark of Pro-Painted by Eye fame and I have based them for the Baroque Rule set. The armour is not quite historically correct but they were the closest figures I could find in 28mm for this period. Eventually I will have three regiments of lancers for the earlier period of the war and then they will be replaced by Cuirassiers for the later period.

Vinnie

Those are sweet, and refreshing to see a period that doesn't get a lot of love. Great work on bases too!

Cheers

A really lovely looking unit - they have a great late 16th century look.

Great work as usual Cousin Nate.
I have adopted your clumps and my basing has improved markedly.
