Old Glory Swiss Pike for The Great Italian Wars

Last week I was very lucky to be offered nice collection, of 28mm Old Glory Miniatures Swiss Pike for The Great Italian Wars, from Mick Curley. Mick had painted the figures, including the flags, a number of years ago and had not used them since, so they had been gathering a nice layer of dust over the years. However over the weekend I was very busy rebasing the lads for Basic Impetvs and finally finished them this morning. For an old range the Old Glory figures have come up nicely with a great paint job and a nice base. My intent now is to have them fight their first battle this coming Sunday.

Please enjoy

Regards

Nathan

I love those, great paint jobs. And helps inspire my own efforts as right now I'm early into a Great Italian War project using Old Glory's 18mm Blue Moon figs. Am looking forward to hearing about your battle too.

You have done a great job on these Nathan. I am a fan of most OG figures - the early Napoleonics are not that great- second Edition are fine - but apart from that, many of their ranges stack up very well against more "trendy" ranges and you cant go past the fantastic value of their Old Glory Army subscription....and these Renaissance figures seem to be amongst the latter.

They may be from an old range Nathan but they look superb. Lovely painting, basing and building in the back drop.

Terrific Nathan. I can almost hear the great war horns of Zurich blaring as I see these pics.

I paint Old Glory figures all the time and their Italian Wars line is one of their best. Still yours look so much better than mine ever do! Nicely done!
