These fantastic figures have been painted by Leroy Simpson and based my me for a good friend EIR Basic Impetvs Army. It is hard to fault the Aventine range and the Early Imperial Romans are no exception. The two Aventine codes used for this unit are EIR86 Contarii in mail and EIR87 Contarii and scale. Hopefully we will se these lads in action this Sunday.
