Pickett's Charge - 2nd Wave of the Attack

It was indeed a great fight, using Regimental Fire and Fury.

And just like Pickett's charge, once we came within range of the musketry it rapidly became a massacre, units steadily shrank and closed up together to maintain support and in the photos you can see the gaps opening.
The rebs crossed the wall in 2 places where there was rails instead of stone, but the 2 regiments that crossed were below 1/2 strength when they crossed and got cleaned up by the Union counterattack. All in all a great fun night with a good turn out.

It seeing things like this that make me wished that I actually gamed! Find myself urging Johnny Reb to get ever closer and faster to the lines of blue.

Thanks for the great comments everyone, we have a pretty good crew here at the club with some very fine figures, so I guess we are lucky.

Thanks again

Absolutely stunning – something to aspire towards.

What size are your infantry bases?
