Old Glory Ottoman Command

As promised some more nicely painted figures by Leroy Simpson. The Old Glory Ottoman Command stands have been painted for John's massive Ottoman Army. At present these guys have not seen battle but hopefully we might pit them against the might of Mother Russia or my Polish Army (if I ever get around to painting them) But Leroy has done another fine job painting these superb figures. Please enjoy....

Hey don't forget French Austrians or Russians of the Napoleonics period as well!

Question do you have any tutorials on how you base your figures (step by step with pictures for us neophytes of questionable basing talent? the bases on those figures look fantastic.

Hmm yes very true possibly the French and Austrians but also I think the British, did they not get defeated by Ottoman forces in 1807?

These figures are based using the Vallejo coarse pumice which fantastic stuff and does not chip like some of the other stuff on the market. For Europe I undercoat this with Games Workshop scorched brown this is then drybrushed with Tamiya Khaki followed by Vallejo US field Drag mixed with white for the final drybrush.
