Army Hospital Corps - Sudan Perry Miniatures

The next stand I commissioned Leroy to paint is the Army Hospital Corps (code SU9) from Perry Miniatures. Leroy was not sure how to paint the little patches on their right arms. I did a little research but could not find any details either (maybe a red cross?). So if anyone knows please let me know and will touch them up.

It's great to see this group painted up; I've debated purchasing it in the past, but I think it may well have just found itself on the wish list.

I painted mine with a red cross on a white patch but like you, could not find anything to confirm this.

Fantastic work. Very nice indeed. Always very good to see casualties being represented - they add a lot to any game.

Vinnie, Badges on arms are a white roundel boardered by blue (outer) and yellow (inner) ring. Red cross in the centre. Might be able to see them here: http://over-open-sights.blogspot.com/2011/08/perry-sudan-army-hospital-corps.html

Mate,

I have a NSW Army Medical Corps image http://cas.awm.gov.au/item/A04915

I also have of a image of FIDDEN, Charles William (Lance Sergeant 336) a copy from the Goulburn War memorial BW though, it does have a outer circle unknown colour, with a white field and red cross. Interesting the NSW Sergeant is dressed in white uniform and pith helmet.

cheers
Matt
